ON THE NUMERICAL SIMULATION FOR STABLE CRACK EXTENSION PROCESS AND ONE NONLINEAR FRACTURE CRITERION
【摘要】 <正> In this paper, we present incremental equations by means of an incremental finite ele-ment method, and utilizing the critical opening angle at crack tip as the fracture criterion,worked out the numerical simulation for the stable crack extension process from initiation toinstability ultimately, thus manifesting many complex mechanical phenomena in the stablecrack extension process. For comparison between the related fracture criteria, the J-integralsand other parameters are also computed. It was shown that the J-integrals cannot serve asgoverning pavameters for the fracture process considered, and was better to choose thefracture critorion of the critical opening angle at the crack tip.
