用于个人剂量监测的氧化铍元件

【摘要】 RZ058型陶瓷氧化铍是一种有用的 TLD 元件。它的主要特征是:1)发光曲线简单,2)热和紫外激发的假信号均限低,3)灵敏度高。这种元件的线性响应范周为1毫伦—10伦,在照射量大于10伦以后开始出现超线性的热释光响应,当照射量大于10~6伦时,热释光响应将达到饱和。若将经不同低剂量照射的氧化铍元件在正常本底、一般室温下存放一个月,低达1毫伦的信号还能探测出来。由能量响应引进的误差最大不超过20%。本文还报道了这种元件与其它元件在主要剂量学性能方面的比较结果。在成都和武汉两个地区,用这种氧化铍元件和 T 型氟化锂元件对医用诊断 X 线机的职业人员进行了个人剂量监测。从1500例的监测结果表明,氧化铍比氟化锂的监测要成功得多。

【Abstract】 The ceramic Beo of RZ058 type is a very useful TLD,It ischa-racterizecd by:1)the simple glow curve,2)the low effects of heating andUV exposing and 3)the high radiation sensitivity.The linear relationshipof thermoluminescent responses between the exposure ranging from 1 mRto 10 R can be demonstrated.The super-linear thermoluminescent responsewas observed when the exposure was higher than 10 R.Meanwhile,a satu-ration of response occurred in the condition that the exposure exceeded 10~6R.When BeO dosimeter exposed to low doses was stored in the absence ofradioactive source for a month,the information as small as 1 mR was s-till able to be detected.The error caused by energy response was less than20%.Furthermore,the comparison between ceramic BeO and other TL de-tectors is also reported in this paper.In Chengdu and Wuhan,both BeO and T type LiF detectors have beenutilized to measure the occupational personal dose of medical dignostic X-rays.The result of 1500 cases shows that the detector of ceramic BeO gives-more information than that of T type LiF.
