【Abstract】 1. The studies on the developmtal stage of Min pigs ovaries in thirty six gilts ranging from newborn to 120kg in body weight had shown the following results: In the newborn stage, the ovarian outer cortical zone cosisted of the germ cell islands with syncytiutn and symplasma forms and the ovarian inner cortical zone consisted mainly of the "Naked" Oocytes and rare small follicles. In the 15kg stage, Ovarian onter cortical zone presented the "Naked" Oocytes and small follicles from 40 to 80 in diameter; and many growth follicles in ovarian inner cortical zone having 5-8 layers of granulasa had been found. In the 30kg stage, the boundary of ovarian cortical regions was not distinct; A large number of growth follicles were displayed the granulosa layers were 13 to 150 The diameters of some follicle might reach 4mm, and corpus albicans presented showing that the ovulation had already begun. In 60kg stage, diameters of many follicles went beyond to 4mm. granulosa layers were from 12-17, and corpus luteum were extensively displayed, so that the ovaries had reached the mature period. In 90,120kg stages, the ovarian changes were not obvious. 2. The developmemt of the ovarian histological structure explanedi Althor ugh the ovary of Min pigs was found to develop slowly in newborn stage, but fast in 30kg stage, and the ovaries matured at 50-60kg stages, At this time the first mating might be done. Though Harbin white pigs developed fast in the newborn, but since then they developed slowly. So that the first mating might be properly done at 90kg stage. 3. Although the ovaries of Min pigs were not heavier than these of Harbin white in newborn, but the developmemt and growth intensities were greater in comparislon with Harbin white at all other stages. This was inconformity with the developmental regularities of histological structures. 4. This study showed that the germinal epithelium of swine ovaries was not all simple euboidal, but stratfied cuboidal epithelium were existed in certain areas, notably in the cortical furrows. 5. This study also showed that the sequence of the postnatal development of swine follicles, commenced with symplasma, through syncytium, then through "Naked" Ooeyte, and then though small follicle eavolved with simple cuboidal follieular epithelium.更多还原
