【Abstract】 1, l-dimethyl-6-tert-butylindane is made by reacting tert-butylbenzene and iso-prene in the presence of 93% sulfuric acid. After the 1, l-dimethyl-6-tert-buty-lindane react with acetyl chloride, compound I is obtained as colourless leaflets with very strong musk odour.Compound I is prepared by reacting 2,6-diisoprepyl phenol and isoprene, in the presence of 93% sulfuric acid. Ⅱ is a colourless crystalline material and has a strong and pleasant musk odour. I is suitable for use in perfumery. Ⅱ also exhibits pro-perties as an antioxidant.The structure of Ⅰ and Ⅱ was further confirmed by NMR.更多还原
