【Abstract】 In this work we have investigated theantitumor action of Chinese drug Yadanzi（Seed of Brucea javanica Merr.）10% emul-sion and the effect on cAMP content in thecancer ceils.The studies have demonstrated that Ya-danzi emulsion may induced direct killingaction on mice hepatoma cells of culture invitro.Intraperitoneal injection of 10% Ya-danzi emulsion at the dosage of 0.1 ml/10gbody weight produced a marked inhibitoryeffect on transplantable hepatoma（solid）inmice and Walker tumor 256 in rats.It alsoshowed a significant inhibitory effect on as-cites volum and cell count of mice hepato-ma（ascites）,but no effect on Ehrlich asci-（?）es carcinoma,S₁₈₀ and U₁₄ of mice.On theother hand,Yadanzi pretreatment may raisedwhite blood cell count in mice that haveinjectived cyclophosphamide.It did notincrease phagocytosis index,also did notinfluence the cAMP content in the hepatomacells of mice.更多还原
