引力波天线Q值测试仪

【摘要】 <正> 引力波天线Q值的大小与温度、气压、天线悬挂方式和换能器的附加损耗等外界因素,有关。为了详细观察外界因素变化对Q值的影响,测量Q值时速度必须尽量快,此外测量最好能自动地进行。文献[1]中所介绍的利用测量衰减时间来求取Q值的方法,由于需要进行多次逐渐逼近式的测量才能得到测量结果,因此测量速度慢。另外,由于该方法采用外激发方式激励待测棒起振,因此当我们有意地连续改变施于待测棒的外界条件(譬如温度),以观察

【Abstract】 The Q of gravitational wave antenna depend on the material property as well asexternal condition. In order to find out the relationship between the antenna Q andexternal condition automatical operating in succession is required. So that we havedesigned and made a metering instrument for quality factor Q. The metering instrument of Q can measure Q of the metal cylinder and othermaterial bar of highter Q. It can give data of the measuement at regular intervalsas we desire. Also, it can measure accurately the longitudinal fundamental mode frequency ofthe cylinder with a digital frequency meter recor oscillating signal from meteringinstrument. Because the metering instrument excite free-vibration of the cylinderwith free-running type and keep up the stationary amplitude for a long time.
