【Abstract】 Using April marine fogs data during 1962--1974 off the northern Yell-ow Sea and the pohai Strait and history synoptic maps at same period, westudied, marine fog middle-range forecasting method, found that springmarine fogs in the areas are related to large scale circulation evolution,especially closely related to its southern sub-trough activities. The authorsanalysed activities rules of the southern sub-trough before marine fogsformation (3--10 days) by means of synoptic-statistical method, twomodels are given here to forecast marine fogs off research areas in future3--5 days or 5--10 days respectively. Models were verified with threeyears history data and results are satisfactory.更多还原
