淹水栽培合萌茎瘤固氮研究初报

【摘要】 <正> 合萌(Aeschynomene indica L.)是一种广泛分布于热带地区的野生豆科草本植物,我国南方各省区均有分布。《广州植物志》记载“合萌”一名出自《华陀中藏经》,广州郊区田野间常见之。可见本种在我国早已受到注意。福建省闽侯县南通农技站1977年报道,将其作早稻迹地绿肥,淹水栽培47天鲜草亩产3500斤,并发现淹水后

【Abstract】 In this preliminary study it was found that greenish stem-nodules were formed on he stem of the leguminous plant Aeschy-nomene indica L. when grown under submerged condition, the roots being under water for about 3 cm. These nodules evidently could fix atmospheric nitrogen as indicated by GC determination of its ability in reducing acetylene to ethylene. This ability was also demonstrated by the gross increment of total nitrogen content of the dry weight of this plant raised on a non-nitrogen medium of granite gravel, also under water, of 1695.85 mg., almost ten fold its original content in 30 days.
