【Abstract】 This paper deals with the Late Anisian ammonoids collected from the Chaqupu Formation at Deqen of Doilungdeqen county,Tibet(67 km.northwest of Lhasa).Theseammonoids were found in a bed of argillaceouslimestone(about 15 cm.thick)in the lowerpart of this formation.After identificationthe following species may be recognized:Proavites hueffeli Arthaber,Paraceratitestrinodosus(Mojsisovics),P.elegans(Mojs.),P.brembanus(Mojs.),P.subnodosus(Mojs.),Parakellnerites lhasaensis(sp.nov.),P.lati-costatus(sp.nov.),P.involutus(sp.nov.),Acrochordiceras carolinae Mojs.,A.undatumArthaber,A.baralama Diener,A.fischeriMojs.,Danubites cf.michaelis(Mojs.),Rei-flingites fortis(Mojs.),R.torosus Arthaber,R.cf.gosaviensis(Mojs.),Balatonites balato-nicus Mojs.,Hungarites sp.,Ptychites opulen-tus Mojs.,Cladiscitidae(gen.et sp.indet.)and Gymnites cf.incultus(Beyrich),21species in all.Among them Proavites andReiflingites were known to occur mainly inEurope and now make their first appearancein China.Noticeably,the Triassic ammonoidshave rarely been recorded in North Tibet(onthe north of the Yalu Tsangpo River).Thepresent materials are of great value to us inrecognition of the Triassic strata in thisregion.In this paper the geographical distribu-tion of the Late Anisian Paraceratites trino-dosus fauna in the Tethys region is also dis-cussed.By comparison it is believed that thepresent ammonoid fauna is more related tothose of Alps of Europe rather than those ofthe Himalayas.更多还原
