新疆喀什盆地早第三纪有孔虫

【摘要】 <正> 新疆喀什盆地自晚白垩世到晚第三纪早期发育了海相到海陆过渡相的地层,含有丰富的各类动物化石。是我国研究晚白垩世到第三纪海相沉积的重要地区之一。前人在本区作过不少生物地层工作,但报道甚少。本文仅对喀什西部乌恰县巴什布拉克及克孜洛依两地早第三纪有孔虫发育情况作一报道。一、地层简介上覆地层上第三系克孜洛依组-----平行不整合-----上始新一渐新统巴什布拉克组紫红、砖红色泥岩为主,夹灰
【Abstract】 The materials upon which our study isbased were collected from the early Tertiarystrata of Bashbulak and Kezloy in the westernpart of the Kashi Basin,southern Xinjiang.In the Kashi Basin the early Tertiarystrata comprising a series of neritic to littoraldeposits with gypsum intercalations in thelower part are subdivided ascendingly intofive formations,namely,the lower PalaeoceneArtashi Formation,the middle Palaeocene tolower Eocene Qimugen Formation,and themiddle Eocene Kalatar Formation,the upperEocene Wulagen Formation and the uppermostEocene to Oligocene Bashbulak Formation.Fossil foraminifera found commonly inassociation with marine ostracods and oystersare abundant in the lower part of QimugenFormation,the Wulagen Formation and theBashbulak Formation,but scarce in the ArtashiFormation and the Kalatar Formation.Noforaminifera has been found in the upper partof the Qimugen Formation which is consideredto be lower Eocene in age and consists ofbrownish to purplish red mudstone and sand-stone with gypsum intercalations.Among the 42 genera and 135 speciesidentified and described by the authors,thesmall benthonic forms make up 91.8% of thetotal.The remaining 8.2% is made up ofplanktonic forms.Most of the benthonicforms belong to Discorbacea,Nonionacea andLituolacea,the predominant genera areDiscorbis,Baggina,Cibicides,Cibicidina,Nonion,Anomalinoides,Cibicidoides,Hetero-lepa,Melonis,Spiroplectammina and Textu-laria.Planktonic forms are represented by11 species of Globorotalia,Globigerina andTurborotalia with limited distribution bothvertically and horizontally.The calcareousperforate species are most abundant andamount to 85.2%,the arenaceous-agglutinatedspecies 13.3%,and the calcareous imperforatespecies only 1.5%.The fluctuation of diversity of foramini-feral faunas in successive formations,theappearance of planktonic species and euryha-line benthonic species at different horizons andthe intercalation of gypsum indicate frequentchange of environment between neritic andlittoral.Probably littoral embayment ofabnormal salinity developed at times.Only 40 species which are considered neware taxonomically described in this paper.Their name-list and stratigraphical distribution are given in Table 1.
