超导Nb-Ti复合线夹杂物的相分析

【摘要】 采用化学相分离法可分离出实用的超导Nb-Ti复合线芯线中的主要夹杂相,经X射线衍射分析发现在600—650℃和500℃挤压温度制得的芯线中,均存在微量Cu,NbC和更少量的TiC夹杂相.600—650℃挤压芯线的表层还存在β′-Cu3Ti化合物.电子显微镜观察了各种夹杂相的形态和颗粒大小.研究结果表明:复合线材芯线表层存在的β′-Cu3Ti是使线材进一步拉制时断裂的主要原因之一.β′-Cu3Ti是由挤压温度过高而产生的.

【Abstract】 The main inclusion phases in the core of Nb-Ti superconducting composites extruded under two different temperatures (600-650℃ and 500℃), are first extracted by chemical treatment and then identified by x-say diffraction method: traces of Cu, NbC and even less of TiC are found present in the core of composites, but β’-Cu3Ti only present in the superficial layes of the core after higher temperature extsrsion (600-650℃).The morphology and grain size of vasious inclusions are determined by TBM and the given results suggest that the presenec of β’-Cu3Ti may be regarded as one of the main causes for the rupture of the composites during further drawing and its formation can be attributed to higher temperature extension.
