超导磁体失超动态过程的实验研究
AN EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF DYNAMICAL PROCESS OF QUENCHING OF SUPERCONDUCTING MAGNET
【摘要】 采用双线圈闭合迴路法,研究了国产多丝铌-钛复合线在密绕、稀绕和设置冷却通道的磁体内失超的动态过程. 实验表明,这种方法可以判断出失超过程是否存在平衡态,并可求出正常区存在的最小电流(I_m)、最小传播电流(I_p)、最大平衡电流(I~*)和正常区传播速度(v)以及不同冷却条件下的传热系数之比. 这些参数对设计保护电阻,选定磁体工作电流等都是很重要的.
【Abstract】 Using a double-coil enclosed circuit, we have studied the dynamical process of quenching of the China-made multifilamentary Nb-Ti composite in a compacted and sparse-wound magnet with a cooling passage.It is shown that by using this method we are able to make sure whether the equilibrium of quenching process exist, and find the minimal current (Im) in the normal zone, the minimal propagation current (Ip), the maximal equilibrium current (I*), the normal zone propagation velocity and the ratio of the coefficients of thermal transfer in different cooling conditions.These parameters are very important to the designning of the protection resistors and the selecting of the operation current of the magnet.
