【Abstract】 An analysis of 100 cases of obstructive pulmonary emphysema in middle to old aged persons showed that the most commonly occurred electrocardiographic findings were 1) inversion of PavL, 2) low voltages of QRS in limb leads, 3) close resemblance of Ⅱ. Ⅲ avF, 4) vertical or nearly vertical P frontal axis, and 5) pulmonary PFor testing of diagnostic reliability of this electrocardiographic pentalogy, another 100 cases of respiratory patients of mostly middle aged males who had either any or all of the pentalogy in their EGGs were collected and studied. Data showed that in those who presented more than three of the fives on their EGGs in one time, a diagnostic congruity with positive chest X-ray findings and a COPD past history reached as high as 80%.更多还原
