【摘要】 <正> 糙齿海豚(Steno bredanensis Lesson)是鲸目、齿鲸亚目、海豚科中较为原始种类。吻突狭长,吻突与额之间无明显界线,齿冠有褶纹,齿根宽扁,下颌骨联合较长,与淡水豚科种类及古代第三纪中新世古长吻海豚(Eurhinodelphis)甚为相似,惟第一、第二颈椎相愈合。分布于大西洋、印度洋、太平洋和地中海。通常生活在温暖的海域。过去太平洋区的爪哇海和夏威夷群岛海域曾有报道。日本小川鼎三1935年在该国静岡的鱼市场也曾采到更多还原

【Abstract】 A rough-toothed dolphin,Steno bredanensis of Delphinidae was found on Oct.7,1973 at the estuary of the Yangtze River.It is the first record from the East China Sea..The dolphin was stranded "on the beaeh of Chuan Sha,Shanghai.It was a female,measuring 2.16 m.long with a slender beak compressed from side to side and without a line of demarcation between the beak and the forehead.There were white spots and markings on the lateral and ventral sides of the body.The dolphin possessed 23 and 24 teeth on the left and the right sides of the upper jaw respectively and 24 oh either side of the lower jaw;the surface of the crowns of the teeth being finely grooved,a very striking characteristic of this species.There were three corpora albicantia on the left ovary,and the left horn of the uterus was broader and longer and with more blood vessels than the right one.A detailed account of the external features,skeleton,teeth and internal organs is presented in the present paper.更多还原
