河北省北戴河海滨附近植物群落的初步研究
A PRELIMINARY STUDY ON THE PLANT ASSOCIATIONS OF PEITAIHO, HOPEI PROVINCE
【Abstract】 The area surveyed lies in the eastern part of Hopei province in latitude 39°55′ north, longitude 119°58′ east. The mean annual precipitation of the area is 666 mm,annual mean temperature,9.9℃.Physiographically, the area is a part of the sea coast of the Gulf of Pohai, which is characterised by maritime vegetation, affected more or less profoundly by the neighbourhood of the sea.The plant associations observed in the area are enumerated in the following: 1.The sandy sea shore constantly exposed to the direct effect of the tides and to salt spray supports a characteristic vegetation of halophytic psammophytes, named Cared Kobomugi-Calystegia soldanella-Ixeris repens Association. 2.Iris dichotoma-Ephedra sinica-Allium anisopodium Association is found on the terrace of the sandy sea shore on exposed coast, not reached by tides but subject to the effect of sea spray driven on to the land by the wind, which shows a mixture of halophytic and non-halophytic species. 3.The saline soil protected from the violent wave action, exposed to immersion in salt water at some high tides composes of halophptes or halophilous plants, many of them growing only when supplied with salt water, though other, can do without it.There occurs Suaeda ussuriensis-Statice bicolor-Artemisia scoparia-Scorzonera mongolica-Aeluropus littoralis Association. 4.The salt-marsh community,Salicornia herbacea-Suaeda ussuriensis, has much in common with that of the above-mentioned one,but includes more hydrophytic species. 5.In the coastal sand-dunes the soil on the slope shows a pH of 6.5, while that on the depression,a pH of 8.0-8.5,The community is less exposed to the direct effect of the tides but shows more or less maritime influence because of salt ground water. 6.The vegetation of the hilly area being out of reach of the tides and not subject to the effect of sea spray shows the absence of any halophytic species. There appears Pinus tabulaeformis-Quercus sp.-Themeda japonica Association. The plant associations just enumerated except the last one are not only constantly found in proximity because they all depend on maritime influence, they are also frequently interdependent.
