能量代谢率与肺通气量的關系及其迴归方程式在能量消耗测定工作中的应用
RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN METABOLIC RATE AND PULMONARY VENTILATION,AND APPLICATION OF REGRESSION EQUATION TO THE ESTIMATION OF ENERGY EXPENDITURE
【摘要】 <正> 在肌肉运动时,随着运动强度的增减各种生理机能都要发生变化,其中特别是和运输氧气有直接關系的循环机能及呼吸机能的变化最颗著。肺的每分种通气量可以比较全面地代表呼吸机能,并且又很容易测量,因此过去有不少实验说明肺通气量和氧气消耗之间的密切關系。Draper,Durin和Tiller等人更试图用肺通气量做为测量单位时间内能量消耗,即能量代谢率的指标。但是,用统计的方法来表示肺通气量和能量代谢率的相互系,除上Durnin的初步工作外,尚无比较更详细的研究。
【Abstract】 Metabolic rates of 8 different muscular activities have been determined by Douglas-Haldane method. From the results obtained, the following regression equations between the metabolic rate and pulmonary ventilation are derived:Log ye = 0.0945x - 0.53394 (1)Log (13.26-ye) = 1.1648-0.01258x (2)in which x is pulmonary ventilation (l/min./m2, 0℃, 760 mm Hg), and ye is the estimated metabolic rate (Cal./min./m2). Equation(l) is used for pulmonary ventilation below 8 l/min./m2, and equation(2) above 8 l./min./nr. A conversion table for the metabolic rate from pulmonary ventilation has been calculated and presented in the text.These equations can be used as a simplified method for determining metabolic rate when applied to groups but not to individuals.
