茄子苗期生长的初步研究
A PRELIMINARY STUDY ON THE GROWTH AND MORPHOGENESIS OF EGGPLANT SEEDLING
【摘要】 本文研究了茄子在育苗时期形态发生和地上部各器官生长量变化的规律。讨论了育苗期茄苗的生长分期及其临界形态阶段。分析了各期的生长特征和与栽培的关系,提出在育苗的不同时期如何掌握促进与控制相结合的育苗措施。
【Abstract】 In the present paper, the morphogenesis and growth of the seedling of eggplant "Ling-ching Great-giant" had been studied. The morphological characters of different growth stage of the seedling are closely related to the cultural practices.1. The growth of leaves are the most distinct phenotyic morphological characters during seedling stage. Five morphological phases during seedling stage may be divided, namely, the cotyledonary stage, the "cross-leaf" stage, the quadrifoliate stage, the rotundifolious stage and the mature stage.The plastocrone of leaf primodia is about 4 to 7 days, which requires much more days in the early stage than that of the later. The leaf area in the cotyledonary stage is very small, but with a high relative growth rate (K = 0.3256 -0.1310). The growth of leaf area in the seedling fits the exponential curve its theoretical functions is S = 1.086eO-i083t, (K = 0.1083). At the end of rotundifolious stage, although the total leaf area increases continuously, but the growth rate drops rapidly, (K = 0.0143).2. As to the growth of stem. In the cotyledonary stage only the hypocotyl elongated, at "cross-leaf" stage, the epicotyl than elongated, and after quadrifoliate stage the main stem begin to elongate rapidly.3. The rate of increase of dry matter in the seedling is found to be an exponential curve About 95 per cent of the total weight produced after quadrifoliate stage with the equation W = 0.624e0.1004tThe dry matter content differes from various organs. It was found that the leaf primodia on the main axis is formed mainly at quadrifoliate-stage and than the growing apex differentiated subsequently. The floral organs and primary and secondary shoots are formed during rotundifolious stage. The number of days required from the emergence of seedling to the beginning of differentiation is about 40 days, and from differentiation to the appearance of flower bud about 30 days.
