猪丹毒氢氧化铝甲醛乳化菌苗研究

【摘要】 <正> 一、引言猪丹毒在我国尚在部分地区流行,严重的危害养猪事业的发展。因此,消灭猪丹毒以保障生猪生产的顺利发展,实为当前兽医工作的重要任务之一。预防猪丹毒的菌苗虽有多种,但各有不同程度的缺点,例如:猪丹毒弱毒液体菌苗保存期不长,在使用上受到时同限制;猪丹毒弱毒冻干菌苗,限于设备条件,目前尚未

【Abstract】 1.The bacterin rescribed in this paper was designed as an improvement of the present vaccines for swine erysipelas. 2.Several methods of producing erysipelas bacterin were described.Using these methods, 12 batches of different kinds of bacterin were prepared for comparative studies,and,as a re- sult,the adsorbated and emulsified bacterin (a modification of Jungk and Murdock’s bacterin) was proved to be the best.The method of producing this bacterin was herewith briefly sum- marized:a basic bacterin was first prepared according to Traub’s method with some modifica- tions;then,by using 15 parts of this basic bacterin well emulsified with 12 parts of mineral oil and 2 parts of melted lanoline in a Waring blender and then merthiolate being added to a final concentration of 1/50,000 to prevent mold growth,this bacterin was thus produced. 3.A single dose of 3 ml of this bacterin could initiate a partial immunity on the 7th day after inoculation and conferred a solid immunity on the 3rd week. 4.The immunity of vaccinated pigs with either a single dose of 5 ml of the bacterin or 2 doses of 3 ml followed and by 5 ml each,at an interval of 2 months,was proved to last for about 14 months.The reason for such a long duration of immunity was discussed. 5.The excellent antigenic property of the bacterin was maintained at the end of 19 months based upon mice tests and about 13 months bassed upon pig tests,when stored in ordinary re- frigerator (4°—10℃) or at room temperature in Nanking (3.5°—36.5°). 6.Safety test of the bacteria was made with about 500 pigs of different breeds and different ages in the field,and no untoward reactions were observed.
