【Abstract】 Experiments with decoction or alcoholic extract of Trillium Tsuc-honoskii Maxim on anesthesized cats and rabbits have shown a defe- nite hypotensive effect. The drug seemed also to prevent the development of experimental Doca-hypertension in rats. Clinical observations on 32 hypertensive patients suggest that Trillium Tsuchonoskii Maxim might be an useful antihyperlensive.A significant analgetic and hemolytic effect were also noted. In large doses the heart rate and contractile force of the cats and rabbits heart were decreased, but there has been no significant change in EKG during the fall of blood pressure in rabbits. The action of tri-llium Tsuchonoskii Maxim preparations could be influenced by chole-sterin) the hemolytic effect was eliminated, the anagelsic and hypot-ensive effect and the toxicity were inhibited in different degrees.The maximal oral dose tolerated by mice is 9 g/kg. Rats receiving orally" lg/kg/day and 3g/kg/day for 1 month showed no change in liver and ki ney function tests, and for 3 months no change in liver, kidney heart, lung and brain histo1ogically .更多还原
