【Abstract】 1. An investigation was made of the epidemic infantile diarrhea which occurred in Wuhan in 1957; it showed that the etiological agent was an E. coli strain with a specific antigenic structure of O₁₁₁B₄.2. Stool Examinations of healthy children and those suffering from other diseases in the 1st and 2nd Affiliated hosoitals of Wuhen Medical College made asa control during Oct. of the same year, did not reveal the presence of the same E. coli type.3. A review of literature was made on the pathogenic E. coli as the etiological agent of the epidemic infantile diarrhea.4. The method of making an anti B factor serum to E. coli O₁₁₁ B₄ was described.更多还原
