【Abstract】 This paper describ es an investigation of the free-pistion engine-eompressor designed by the authors, The maehine is of the two-stage type and symmetrical in construction. It has the air delivery rate of 4—4.5 M~3/min when the delivery presure is 8 kg/cm~2.The design features, thermodynamic considerations and the problems encountered in starting the machine are discussed, The experimental results show that the main performance parameters of the free-piston unit agree well with the designed values.更多还原
