人体在气功鍛鍊时的代謝率

【摘要】 <正> 气功是古时我国人民应用的一种保健养生方法,近年被广泛应用于临床医疗,証明对多种疾病有一定疗效。气功流派繁多,各家的鍛炼方法不一,本文乃指上海市气功疗养所应用的方法。这种气功,在鍛炼时主要要求精神安靜(“入靜”)和肌体弛緩(“放松”),进而在此基础上“調息”(調整呼吸运动使之深緩細勻)和“意守”(集中注意于某一点)。掌握气功鍛炼方法的人(下称练功者)在进行气功鍛炼时(称练功),呈現的最明显的生理变化是呼吸減慢,一般可減至每分钟3—4次左右。在长达数十分钟至一小时的練功过程中,綜功者可保持这样异常減慢的呼吸而毫无不适之感。探明在这样长时間減慢呼吸情况下机体的代謝机能,无疑是气功机制研究中的一个重要部分。

【Abstract】 During the practice of"Chi-Kong", which is essentially a method of voluntary mental and physical relaxation, the frequency of respiratory movement and pulmonary ventilation decreases to a very low level. This work deals with studies on the change in the metabolic rate(MR) based on the observation of O2 consumption and CO2 production as measured by the"Bohlau’s Efficiency Tester". It was observed that the MR remarkably decreased in persons during relaxation. The average decrease was 19% in 21 males and 21% in 6 females, the lowest value being 57% below normal. The extent of decrease of the MR among subjects varied with the completeness of relaxation. The more complete the mental and physical relaxation the lower the MR was. The extent of decrease was also related to the body posture during relaxation, being greatest in the recumbent position. The low MR during relaxation can thus be partially explained by more complete mental rest and skeletal muscular relaxation. During relaxation the skin temperature of the finger tips showed a rise of 2-3℃ to 6-7℃, but there was practically no change in the temperature of the forearm skin, which suggests that the vasoconstrictor tone was lowered during relaxation. It may thus be assumed that the inhibition of sympathetic nervous system is another cause of the decreased MR. It was also observed that the practice of relaxation after muscular activity resulted in a decrease of extra O2 consumption during the recovery period. This phenomenon may also be interpreted as due to the inhibition of the sympathetic tone, which ordinarily remain at a higher level for some time after muscular activity. Analysis of alveolar air during relaxation revealed that there was some increase in O2 and decrease in CO2 content, while blood lactic acid concentration suffered no significant change. The decreased respiratory function during relaxation is therefore the result of decreased MR, and not of respiratory inhibition.
