【Abstract】 The etiological factors of 1,400 epileptic pa- tients admitted to our department during the period from January 1950 to December 1960 were analyzed.1,322 patients(94.86%)belonged to the group of symptomatic epilepsy,while there were only 78 cases(5.14%)of the so-called idiopathie epilepsy.In the symptomatic group,the most frequent cause was cerebral disease—1,029 pa- tients(73.93%).The seizure of 435 cases(31.07%) was due to infectious diseases of the brain(cere- bral parasitosis,encephlitis,meningitis etc.)which are the most common causes of cerebral disease. Following in order of frequency were cerebral neoplasm(221 patients,15.79%)and cerebral vascular disease(127 patients,9.07%).更多还原
