【Abstract】 In September or October there are several regions in China in which both rainfall and rainy days are greater than during the adjacent months.Such regions are called antumn rainy areas,which situate principally at Western China and Yantze delta.It is found that the beginning and ending dates of autumn rainy periods are closely related to the advance of the jet stream over the Southern Asia.The retreat of Indian summer monsoon is also found to correspond with the end of autumn rainy period in China.更多还原
