【Abstract】 Using the method suggested by Prof. Tu. C. H. [1]. The stresses in the gravity dam with a rectangular hole are investigated. A discussion on the details of the technique of relaxational method for the part of rectangular hole are presented. The direct and shear stresses calculated are compared with the results of photo-elastic analysis. In the photo-elastic test, the centrifugal forces are used instead of the gravitional forces. Their results are in agreement within the experimental accuracies.更多还原
