【Abstract】 This is the second part of our report on the Hispine beetles obtained by the Ex-pedition. An inventory is given in the Chinese text, only the new forms are describedbelow. Lasiochila dimidiutipennis Chen et Yu, n. sp. Body broadly elongate, black, except the posterior half of the elytra and the apicalmargin of the three intermediate abdominal sternites castaneus. Antennae stout, thefive basal segments above and the three below shining. Elytra strongly punctate, withthe punctures of the seventh and eighth rows duplicate near apex, the second, sixth andeighth interstices distinctly raised toward the extremity. Length: 16 mm. Breadth: 6 mm. Holotype : Yunnan: Rui-li (6. Ⅵ. 1956). Distinguished by the elytra bicolorous, with the 9th and 8th rows of punctures du-plicate near apex. Lasiochila estigmenoides Chen et Yu, n. sp. Form elongate. Head and prothorax black, elytra castaneus. Antennae longer thanhalf the length of the body in male, shorter in female, the five basal segments aboveand the three below shining, the rest opaque. Prothorax -subquardrate (fig. 3), sidesstraight, disc either sparingly or densely punctate, slightly depressed at each side. Elytrawith ten rows of punctures in the middle, and sometimes an additional row between theseventh and eighth near apex, all the interstices raised at the apical third. : Lastabdominal sternite with long hairs on each side of the semi-circular depression, the lattermore or less convex in the middle. Length: 13.5--18.2 mm. Breadth: 3.7--6.2 mm. Holotype : Yunnan: Gin-ping (3. Ⅴ. 1956). Allotype : Yunnan: Gin-ping(3. Ⅴ. 1956). Paratypes 17, 9 ): Yunnan: Ping-ban. Resembling much Estigmena chinensis Hope in general appearance, but the prono-tum is distinctly depressed on each side, with the lateral edges straight and the anterioredge not emarginate in the middle. Downesia javana ginpinica Chen et T’an, n. ssp. Red-brown, shiny; antennae, elytra and tarsi black. Distinguished from javanajavana Ws. chiefly by the body larger, about 5 mm. long (the latter 3.5--4 mm.), withthe pronotum more clearly punctate. Length: 4.8--5.3 mm. Breadth: 1.3--1.5 mm. Holotype: Yunnan: Gin-ping (19. Ⅳ. 1956). Paratype (1 specimen): Yunnan:Gin-ping. Downesia nigripennis Chen et T’an, n. sp. Shiny; pronotum, ventral surfaces of thorax and legs red-brown, antennae, elytraand tarsi black, abdomen yellow-brown to light red-brown. Pronotum subquadrate,lateral margins reflexed; disc with very fine and scattered punctures. Elytral discs eachwith 4 pairs of puncture-rows separated by 3 interspaces, the 3rd. interspace shorter thanthe first two; the first pair of puncture-rows fused into one before the middle. In themale, the anterior tibial spur more or less spoon-like, in ventral view (fig. 5), middleand posterior tibial spurs cone-shaped. Length: 6.2-7.2 mm. Breadth: 1.6--2.0 mm. Holotype: Yunnan: Gin-ping .(29. Ⅳ. 1956). Paratypes (7 specimens): Yunnan:Gin-ping. Downesia puncticollis Chen et T’an, n. sp. (fig. 6) Black, abdomen red-brown, shiny. Prollotum sub-quadrate, the anterior portions ofthe lateral margins markedly reflexed; disc strongly punctate in the middle and weaklypunctate laterally. Elytral discs each with 8 rows of punctures, in pairs separated by3 costae, the first pair of puncture rows united into one before the middle. Length: 7.8 mm. Breadth: 2.0 mm. Holotype: Yunnan: Gin-ping (12. Ⅴ. 1956). Characterized by the pronotal disc being more distinctly and strongly punctate thanother species of the genus. Gen.
