【Abstract】 The original description of Neopsylla biseta Li & Hsieh, 1964, was based on a male single specimen off Apodemus agrarius (?) from Yunnan. The female was then still unknown. The present paper describes for the first time the morphology of the female and remarks on certain characters of male.Diagnosis. Female close to N. stenosinuata Wang, 1974 but separable from the latter by the following characters, (l)pronotal comb composed of 17-18 spines. (2) female, upper lobe of the apical margin of st. Ⅶ is very sharp and its lower margin has a small notch ; there are 14-17 lateral bristles, among 晈hich 5-4 on the apical row are longer than the others; bulga of spermatheca shorter and cylindrical, being about 1.6 times as long as wide. (3) male, these two bristles of the lateral apical row situated near the dorsal margin of st. Ⅷ are especially longer than others; apical lobe of process of clasper is about the same height as the apex of movable process; movable process wider, its lower part protruding, and the apical margin rather convex; distal arm of st.
