家兔中枢神经系统少突胶质细胞的形态和分布
THE MORPHOLOGY AND DISTRIBUTION OF THEOLIGODENDROGLIA IN THE CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM OF THE RABBIT
【摘要】 <正> 中枢神经系统内少突胶质细胞的发现,最早当追溯到Robertson(1900)的工作。他用铂氯化汞法镀染中枢神经组织,发现有大量胶质细胞的形态与星状胶质细胞及室管膜细胞不同,这些细胞只有少数突起,当时他称这些细胞为中胶质细胞(mesoglia cell)。其中的一部分,就是现在所公认的少突胶质细胞。此后Cajal(1911)又用氯化金法在中枢神经系统内染出大量很小的胶质细胞,也认为它们的形态和星状胶质细胞不同,因而称它们为中枢神经系统第三种成分。可是当时还不能将少突胶质细胞从第三种成分中分
【Abstract】 The cellular morphology and distribution of the oligodendroglia in the central nervous system of the adult rabbit has been studied by means of Grino and Nissl methods.The form and size of oligodendroglia cells showed great variation. Most of the cell bodies were somewhat round, oval or polyhedral in shape, from which three to five very slender cytoplasmic processes with bead-like swellings extend out. The neucleo-cyto-plasmic ratio of the oligodendroglia varies with the size of the cells, being greater in theThe distribution of the oligodendroglia in the central nervous system showed an un-even arrangement, being more crowded in the corpus callosum, anterior commissure, and the white matter of the spinal cord, and less numerous in the gray matter of the spinalcord, medulla oblongata, and the cerebral cortex.As to the relation of the oligodendroglia with neurons minute blood vessels, the perineuronal, interfascicular and perivesselar satellites had been described. The present studysuggests that the distribution of the oligodendroglia in the central nervous system of the rabbit keeps a close relationship with both neurons and minute blood vessels.
