【Abstract】 Ethynylmagnesium bromide was prepared by reaction of acetylene with ethylmagnesium bromide in tetrahydrofuran. With this Grignard reagent and α,β-unsaturated ketones at low temperature, we obtained several vinylacetylenic alcohols with satisfactory yields.
