河北省常见蝇类幼虫小志
NOTES ON THE THIRD-STAGE LARVAE OF SYNANTHROPIC FLIES IN HOPEI PROVINCE
【摘要】 <正> 关于我国蝇类幼虫的形态分类,除范滋德(1957)对上海区系作有研究外,其他地区尚很少报导,甚至许多常见种幼虫的形态至今尚无描述。有鉴于此,我们将近年来在河北省各地采到的标本共计36种用检索表方式作一报告,其中蓝翠蝇Orthellia caerulea Wd.,新陆原伏蝇Protophormia terrae-novae R.-D.,暗额黑蝇Ophyra obscurifrons Sabr.,东方角蝇Lyperosia exigua Meij.及横带花蝇Anthomyia illocata Wlk.五种幼虫过去在国内外尚无记载或记载得还不够详细,本文作了必要的描述,并参考(1948)的著作,与它们的近缘种分别进行了比较。
【Abstract】 The third-stage larvae of 36 species of synanthropic flies collected from Hopei Pro-vince are here reported in the form of a serial key. The larvae of Orthellia caeruleaWd., Protophormia terrae-novae R-D., Ophyra obscurifrons Sabr., Anthomyia illocataWlk., and Lyperosia exigua Meij. are described in detail for the first time. 1. Orthellia caerulea Wd. (Fig. 1) Third-stage larva: There are irregular sculptures on the cuticle of the whole body.Anterior spiracle with 8 rounded digits. In the anal region there are 2 anal, 2 subanal,2 preanal, 2 para-anal and 2 extra-anal tubercles. Oral hooks are equal in length. Onthe posterior surface of the 8th abdominal segment there are 4 small rounded protuber-ances. Ventral pads of the abdominal segments Ⅱ—Ⅶ are covered with 6—7 rows oflarge or small spines. These characteristics when used in combination are sufficient todistinguish this species from O. caesarion. The larvae breed chiefly in human feces on ground. 2. Protophormia terrae-novae R-D. (Fig. 2) Third-stage larva: The belt of bifid and trifid spines is present at the anterior endof each body segment. Anterior spiracle with 11 digits, several minute holes observedon the wall of the atrium. The distance between the posterior spiracular plates equalsto 2/3 of their width. On the posterior surface of the 8th abdominal segment the sub-ventral process is larger than the lower lateral process. The lower portion of the 8th abdominal segment is smaller than that of the upper portion. The distance between theouter margin of the posterior spiracular plate and the upper lateral process is muchlonger than the width of the posterior spiracular plate. These are the important dif-ferences between this species and Phormia regina Mg. In nature, the larvae are found chiefly in decomposing animal matters, especiallythose from the butchery. 3. Ophyra obscurifrons Sabr. (Fig. 3) The third-stage larva is shown in the following table: Table: comparison of the 3rd stage larva of the common species of genus Ophyra in Hopei Province. 4. Anthomyia illocata Wlk. (Fig. 4) Third-stage larva: Resembles Anthomyia pluvialis L., but differs from it in the fol-lowing points: The posterior spiracular plates are not very small, yellowish-brown incolor, the distance between them is 2—3 times its width. In Anthomyia pluvialis L., theposterior spiracular plates are very small, reddish-brown in color, the distance betweenthem is 4—5 times its width. The larvae breed in fowl excrements and decomposed animal matters. 5. Lyperosia exigua Meij. (Fig. 5) Third-stage larva: Resembles Lyperosia irritans L., excepting that the posteriorspiracular plates are not so large, the distance between them is 1/2 instead of 4—5 timestheir width, the button area is dark instead of transparent. The larvae breed chiefly in the cow dung.
