【Abstract】 In the present paper, Haemaphysalis (Alloceraea) aponommoides is recorded fromChina for the first time. Our specimens were collected from the buffalo, Bubalus bubalis(Linne) in Kunming, Yunnan province (March, 1960). A brief review of the historyof the species is given. The morphological characteristics of both sexes are briefly re-described and figured. Our specimens are slightly different from those of the previous descriptions in thefollowing: 1. The porose areas are mainly elliptical in shape. 2. There are many small round chitinized patches on the ventral surface of themales.更多还原
