【Abstract】 This paper introduces the displacement equation of deformation of the flexible spline under the action of two rollers or four rollers and analyses the questions in kinematics of the harmonic drive-the principle of the drive, the calculating formulas of drive ratio, the property of engagement and the velocity of relative motion.
