应用单站地磁资料予测大范围F2层骚扰的探讨

【摘要】 分析了1969—1972年19个大地磁暴时的F2层骚扰,发现30°N-42°N和43°N-50°N这两个地磁纬圈上的F2骚扰暴时变化,相当好地遵循地磁暴的赤道Dst变化。探讨了从局地地磁资料中提取暴时分量以代替Dst的可能性。分析表明,局地地磁资料通过滤波处理是有可能分离出类似于Dst的暴时分量的,它在予测F2层对地磁的响应方面与Dst也是等效的。最后理论分析表明,赤道环电流粒子可能加热亚极光带的热层,贡献于引起中纬F2骚扰的暴环流,从而解释了Dst和Dst(△f0F2)的形态相似。

【Abstract】 The F2 layer disturbances at large range have been studied during 19 greatmagnetic storms (minimum Dst depletion is smaller than-100γ) from 1969 to 1972. It is fouad that storm - time variation of the F2 layer disturbance for 30 °N-42°N and 43°N-50°N geomagnetic latitude zones follows reasonably well the equatorial Dst variation of magnetic storm. For the purpose of predicting the F2 layer disturbance at large range using single-station geomagretic data,it is necessary to select a storm -time component from the local geomagnetic data at middle latitude instead of the Dst. The investigation shows that by certain filtering treatment of the local geomagnetic data, one can find a storm - time component similar to Dst. This component is also equivalent to Dst in the prediction of the F2 layer responses. Finally, theoretical analysis shows that the equatorial ring current particles may heat the lower thermosphere in the sub - auroral zones, in this way it contributes to the storm circulation by which the F2 layer disturbances at middle latitude are caused.
