钨锡矿中少量钍的快速测定

【摘要】 测定钨锡矿中少量钍时,试样用过氧化钠熔融,沉淀溶于盐酸后,在酸度为0.3N时, 利用Na~+与希土元素的存在降低草酸钍的溶解度,用草酸铈作载体使钍以草酸钍形式沉淀并与大量Zr、Ti、Fe等元素分离。破坏草酸后,在pH(?)2时利用抗坏血酸掩蔽Fe、Ti,用酒石酸掩蔽Zr,用显色,进行比色测定。此法操作简便,只须一天便可完成全部分析。

【Abstract】 A rapid method for the determination of thorium in cassiterite containing tungsten is suggested. The method gives satisfactory results and is fairly rapid. An analysis of ore sample can be completed in a working day. The prodecure is essentially as follows:The sample is fused with sodium peroxide and the fused mass extracted with water. The water-insoluble residue is dissolved in hydrochloric acid and thorium is precipitated as the oxalate with cerous oxalate as a carrier. After solution in nitric acid and decomposition of oxalic acid, thorium is determined colorimetrically with arsenazo in the presence of ascorbic and tartaric acids according to Zaikovsky and Gerkhardt.
