呼伦贝尔草原有关布氏田鼠防治方面的某些生物学研究
SOME BIOLOGICAL OBSERVATIONS OF THE BRANDT’S VOLES(MICROTUS BRANDTI RADDE) CONTROL INHULUN-BEIER GRASSLAND
【摘要】 <正> 呼伦贝尔草原,是黑龙江省重要牧业基地;但是,草原鼠害相当猖獗。危害草场的主要害鼠,布氏田鼠(Microtus brandti Radde),目前在呼伦贝尔草原的栖息范围,已遍布新巴尔虎左旗和右旗,且有继续向陈巴尔虎旗和鄂温克族自治旗漫延的趋势。根据新巴尔虎右旗农牧局的初步调查,1971年约有70%的草场遭受不同程度的危害,其中害情严重
【Abstract】 Microtus trandti Radde is the dominant and wide-ranging species in the Hulun-Beier grassland, and is destructive to the pasture seriously. For the purpose of pest control, from early summer to September in 1971 and 1972, we made some population ecological observations on this vole. A brief summary may be given below.In the population structure, the sex ratio of the vole is about 1:1, and by analysis of variance, there are no significant changes from year to year and from month to month. As to age composition, there no marked changes during the two years, 1971-1972, the juvenile voles being always the majority of the population.The duration of the breeding season is from May to September in 1971. Owing to the long drought in the summer of 1972, a shortage of natural food supply resulted in a shortened breeding season.The population density in 1972 strikingly declined, as there had been a mortality rate during the winter of 1971.The seasonal changes of the vole population are of a cyclic type and exhibit rather regular ups and downs in the density. The vole gradually increases in number during the breeding season, reaching a peak in July or August, and by analysis of variance, there is no seasonal change of the vole population in the years of 1971 and 1972.For control of this rodent pest, during August of 1971 we used the poison bait of 5% of zinc phosphate, 0.5% Gliftor or 0.5% fluoro acetic acid sodium salt. As a result, more than 90% of the population was wiped out. Prom June to September in 1972, a restoration of the population density occurred apparently due to an immigration of the voles from the adjacent areas.
