【摘要】 <正> 1958年下半年,中国科学院动物研究所参加了华南热带生物资源综合考察队,在广西僮族自治区的龙津、宁明、上思、邕宁、靖西、睦边等六县进行鸟、兽区系和资源的普查,历时共四个月。通过普查,对该地区的鸟、兽区系和资源概况得到初步了解,并且采获了大批鸟、兽标本,其中兽类标本计七百余号。今就这些兽类标本,作分类研究,提出本篇报告。更多还原

【Abstract】 This paper presents a systematic study of some 700 specimens of mammals collected from south-western Kwangsi during Aug.-Dec., 1958. The. collection comprises 53 species, belonging to 5 orders, 17 families and 32 genera, of which 30 species are found to he new distributional records to the mammalian fauna of Kwangsi. It is a transitional area from the tropical to the subtropical zone, and, zoogeographically considered, belongs to the South-China region. The constituents of the mammalian fauna are rather complex, and most of the mammals encountered are species characteristic of the Oriental realm. For discussion concerning the characteristic features of the mammalian fauna of this region, the readers may be referred to our previous report (1959).For each of the species listed, remarks concerning its taxonomic status and sub-specific systematics together with some edological notes are given.更多还原
