地里红恙虫蚴叮咬鼠类的试验

【摘要】 <正> 地里红恙虫 Trombicula akamushi var.deliensis(Walch,1923)是广州及国内许多地区已经证实的主要的恙虫病的媒介。因此本恙虫的生态研究从恙虫病流行病学的角度看有重要的意义。本文以我们自己培养的地里红恙虫蚴进行鼠类的叮咬试验。试验的目的,一方面想获得有关恙虫蚴叮咬鼠类的一些更具休的科学资料,这在恙虫病流行病学上
【Abstract】 1. Results of the present experiments indicate that newly hatched larvae of T. akamushi var. ddiensis placed within 24 hours in the ears of the white rats and mice often wander aimlessly for a short period before actual attachment and feeding take place. The length of this pre-feeding period appears to be affected chiefly by the length of time elapsed after hatching, that is to say, the longer after hatching, the shorter the pre-feeding period; and possibly also by the kind of host, as the pre-feeding period is longer on Rottus flavipectus than on white mice.2. The actual attachment and feeding time of the larvae on white rats and mice ranges from 30 to 123 hours, average 69.3. Experiments also indicate that the length of time elapsed after hatching and the temperature conditions under which the larvae are kept before feeding may affect the rate of fully engorged larvae when placed on a suitable host. The longer the time elapsed after hatching, whether the larvae are previously kept in 5C, 15C, 28 C or 35 C, the smaller is the percentage of fully engorged larvae. In the meanwhile, when the length of time elapsed after hatching is equal, the lower the temperature in which they are previously kept, the lower is ’he percentage of fully engorged larvae.
