螺旋波纹波导回旋行波管

【摘要】 回旋管行波管是一种重要的毫米波放大器件,具有高输出功率、工作频带宽等特点,在毫米波雷达、通讯与电子战等方面有着十分重要的运用前景。在回旋行波管的发展过程中,人们一直在提高回旋行波管的功率和效率,拓展带宽克服自激振荡、减小对速度零散的敏感性等方面努力,为此出现了各种形式的高频波导结构,有采用渐变波导结构和渐变磁场,台湾清华大学朱国瑞等人采用切断作用的具有分布壁损耗二级互作用园波导的结构。电子科技大学回旋管课题组采用开槽结构,都起到了较好的效果。在这些研究中,一种由俄罗斯人G.Denisov等提出的螺旋波纹波导是一种比较理想的结构,该结构通过改变波导的色散特性,使得电子注和工作模式发生有效的作用,不仅能增大互作用效率和频带宽度,还能增加抑制模式竞争的能力,大大提高了回旋管的工作性能,由俄罗斯人研制出的这种器件,对于半径在轴向和角向都变化的螺旋波纹波导的研究在相关文献中只给出结果,色散特性仅作简要的提及,除此之外,系统的理论研究在相关文章和书籍中还很少看到,因此本论文在‘十·五’预研和高技术863项目的资助下对螺旋波纹波导回旋行波管进行了全面深入的理论研究和数值模拟分析,诣在为开发和设计稳定、高效的回旋行波管提供设计依据和计算程序。本文的主要工作和贡献在于: 1.介绍了螺旋波纹波导的基本工作过程,然后借助阻抗这个途径,选择了适当的参考波导,用微扰理论和耦合波理论求解了较复杂的边界不规则的螺旋波纹波导问题,得出螺旋波纹波导的传输耦合波方程,从传输耦合波方程可知:在螺旋波纹波导中除了输入的模式之外,只能耦合出与输入模式在角向变化数的差值为螺纹角向变化数的波形,这就使得出现的耦合模式数大为减少,这一点对于回旋行波管抑制模式竞争的能力比较有利。 2.从耦合方程出发分析了螺旋波纹波导各模式之间的耦合规则,同时导出色散方程,并进行数值计算给出色散图象,对色散图象进行分析得到如下结论:由于螺旋
【Abstract】 Gyrotron traveling wave tube amplifier (Gyro-TWT) is an important millimeter wave amplifier with the characteristics of the high output power, the broadband width, and so on. This amplifier has vast a:lication vistas in many areas such as millimeter radar, communications, electronic countermeasure, and so forth. During the development of gyro-TWT, people have being paid much attention to enhance the power and efficiency of gyro-TWT, and increase bandwidth for su:ression of spurious oscillations, and reduce sensitivity to the spread of electron-beam and so on.. So, kinds of high frequency wave-guides come forth. Some employ the tapered wave-guide with gradual change magnetic field, and Zhu guorui employs interaction structure with severed and distributed wall losses and University of Electronic science and Technology of China employs interaction slotted structure. These have obtained better effect. During these research, one kind of wave-guide with helical corrugation is more ideal than others, and this kind structure is put by the Russian, G . Denisov and others. This structure made efficient interaction between the beam and operating mode by altering the guide dispersion characteristics and improve gyro-TWT work characteristic. The wave-guide with helical corrugation which changes radius on axial and azimuthal only can find the results in correlative literature, and dispersion characteristics are referred to simplify. Except of these, systemic theory research is seldom seen. Under this background, many problems about Gyro-TWT are addressed thoroughly and intensively in this dissertation su:orted by the pre-study item, and "863 Plan" .The designing criterion and the calculation program about a kind of stability and high efficiency Gyro-TWT are presented .The main works of this dissertation are listed as following:1.
