【摘要】 城市是国家经济、政治、科学技术和文化教育的中心，是现代工业与第三产业集中的地方，在国民经济和社会发展中起主导作用。中国的城市化问题，是一个关系到中国经济持续快速增长以及经济社会可持续发展的重大战略问题。论文的研究背景：一是从国家层面考察，城市化对区域经济发展的贡献率正在逐步增大。经济发展是与城市产生、成长的整个发展过程相联系的。城市化进程与城市的规模、类型、性质、功能、地位和作用以及城乡经济关系、国民经济的内部结构、空间结构和企业的布局都紧密相连。二是从国内环境看，城市化是缩小我国区域差异的切入点之一。缩小区域差异是新中国历来不懈奋斗的目标和目前正在努力的方向，区域差异的严峻性已受到党和国家的高度重视，为缩小区域差异，中央政府已经明确提出了“中部崛起”的战略目标。然而，要实现“中部崛起”，必须从发展经济入手，而现代经济发展的载体就是城市经济的高速发展。三是现有的经济学研究中，对城市化模式的研究不够深入。国内外对城市化的研究多集中在对城市化水平的判断、城市化与工业化关系等方面，而对城市化模式的研究较少。城市化模式的研究，对于推进城市化进程，促进中国经济结构的调整，推动经济持续快速增长，加快中部，尤其是河南经济发展，缩小区域经济差距，实现全面、协调和可持续发展具有十分重要的理论和现实意义。 论文研究的主要内容：一是城市化、城市化模式及其选择。以城市化的定义和内涵为切入点，探讨了影响城市化模式的因素和城市化模式选择的原则和依据。二是国内外城市化模式的比较研究。通过归纳日本和美国的城市化模式，在总结国内城市化模式的基础上，比较分析了我国在城市化初始条件、物质基础和人口规模三个方面与发达国家存在的差异。三是城市化研究的理论框架。从系统、综合的角度探讨了城市化模式的构成及其内容，并指出了城市化模式设计的原则和应遵循的原理。四是河南城市化模式的设计及其实施的政策建议。通过归纳河南城市化模式的演进轨迹与特征，从城市化模式构成三要素出发，设计了河南城市化的模式，提出了实施的政策建议。 论文的主要结论：一是城市化模式必须以市场为导向，选择与之相应的工业化水平和人口规模；二是城市化模式包括动力机制、空间发展、制度三个模块。国家政策调控和市场机制是城市化发展的动力，城乡结构、多城市结构是城市化进程的空间布局，制度变迁是城市化发展的保障。三是城市化的研究必须以实体经济因素为基础，把城市化和城市化模式有机联系起来。城市化实体因素包括城市人和政府等主体，商品、信息和技术等载体，而客体就是通过城市化过程而积淀下来的构成城市化模式的元素；四是河南的城市化模式要通过建设郑州都市更多还原

【Abstract】 As national centers of economic, politic, science and technology, culture and education, towns accumulate most modern industry and the tertiary industry and play a dominant role in the development of economy and society. Chinese urbanization is a strategic issue, which concerns the sustainable development of economy and society. Promotion of Chinese urbanization will not only benefit Chinese development but also influence global economic growth and sustainable development; actively promoting the process of urbanization will contribute to Chinese economic reconstruction and economic sustainable, rapid growth.The important conclusions are that, First, because economic, cultural, institutional factors have great impact on patterns of urbanization, full consideration should be given to the impact of urban economic development factors in choosing urbanization patterns. Second, urbanization patterns should contain three sub-modules: the impetus mechanism module, the spatial development modules and the institutional module. The impetus mechanism module describes the main driving forces of urbanization; the spatial development modules describe the urban spatial developing trend, the institutional module describes the protection system for urbanization. Third, urbanization patterns are a kind of flow through some carriers; therefore, this study divided urbanization factors into main factors, the carrier and the object factors. Fourth, Henan’s urbanization patterns should be based on its geographical position and resources. In the dynamic mechanism, be market-driven model should be adapted to promote urbanization, and expand urbanization developing pattern through building ZhengZhou, Central Plains city groups and reasonable urban system. In supporting system, innovation of institution should carried from adjusting the industrial structure, reforming the household registration system, innovating land-use system, improving the social security system and building the urban construction investment systems.There are some innovations in the paper: First, study visual angle innovation.
