【摘要】 虚拟现实地理信息系统(VR-GIS)是地理信息系统(GIS)技术和虚拟现实(VR)技术相结合的新发展之一,是实施“数字地球”的关键技术之一。论文以交叉技术综合应用研究为主导,研究了VR-GIS技术及其在岩土工程中的应用。主要做了如下工作: 1、从系统和技术的角度研究了实施VR-GIS的几个热点问题,包括VR-GIS的系统组成、技术体系、景观技术、协同技术、海量数据处理等核心技术,以及岩土工程VR-GIS实施的一些关键技术、发展和应用前景; 2、提出并研究了基于VR-GIS技术的地质地形的可视化模拟技术;并研究实现了基于VR-GIS的地质灾害静态特征和动态特征的可视化模拟,进一步发展了岩土工程中的可视化技术。 3、研究了VR-GIS地质景观技术,包括基于VR-GIS协同集成机制的数据初始化技术和视觉技术;研究了VR-GIS地质景观中基于图形交互技术的地质景观漫游机制,包括不同数据结构的漫游技术。 4、首次针对VR-GIS海量数据处理,探讨了微机环境中大范围地质景观的三维重建。文中针对不同数据源,研究了三维地质地形景观重建。 5、研究了VR-GIS地质地形景观重建中,运用小波变换进行地质图像的无损压缩、分解和增强的处理。 6、进行了VR-GIS技术用于拱坝、桥梁工程可视化的探索。

【Abstract】 Virtual Reality Geographic Information System (VR-GIS) is the new development of the combination of Geographic Information System (GIS) technology and Virtual Reality (VR) technology. It is the key technology of the application of digital earth. The study of the application of multiple technologies of many subjects dominates in the paper. VR-GIS technology and its application in the geotechnical engineering are explored. The main content is as following:1. From the point of view of system and the technology, this paper researches on several hotspot matters in the implementation of VR-GIS. It includes the core technology like the composition of VR-GIS, the technology system, landscape technology, cooperative working mechanism, Gigabytes processing, etc., and the development, the application foreground in the implement of VR-GIS of Geotechnical Engineering.2. This paper puts forward and studies the visual simulation technology based on geology terrain of VR-GIS technology; studies and realizes the visual simulation of the static state and dynamic state of geology disaster based on the VR-GIS, develops the visual technology in the geotechnical engineering as well.3. The technology of VR-GIS geology landscape is studied, including the initialization and vision technology of the data based on the cooperative and integrative mechanism of VR-GIS. The cruising mechanism of geology landscape in the VR-GIS based on the graphics interaction technology is studied, including the cruising technology of different data structure.4. For the first time, aiming at the Gigabytes processing of VR-GIS, this paper probes into the large scope 3D reconstruction of the geology landscape with the microcomputer. Aiming at different data source, the 3D reconstruction of geology terrain landscape is studied in this paper.5. Wavelet transform is applied to compress and decompose and buildup geology image without losing the information, etc. in the VR-GIS geology landscape reconstruction in this paper.6. Visualization of arch dam and bridge engineering with VR-GIS technology are explored in this paper.
